Anna is known for genuine care and compassion for her clients. Her clients feel safe and cared for in her presence. She understands that the counselling process can be difficult and therefore is patient and gentle with her clients through the ups and downs of counseling, guiding them to a place of healing.
Anna takes a client-centered approach to counselling. She knows the power of the therapeutic relationship and therefore she creates a warm and judgment-free environment for her clients. Building trust with her clients is vital to making clients feel safe and having real change occur for them. Anna believes that each person has the ability to change, and that people are more resilient than they think they are. The therapeutic journey helps clients become aware of their resiliency and their deeper emotions.
Anna uses an integrative approach which includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). This helps ensure her clients are addressing underlying emotions while also being given practical tools to help them cope in the short term. Anna works with a diverse clientele within many age brackets.
To meet the needs of her clients the best she can, Anna offers evening and daytime appointments. She knows life is busy and wants to be there to support clients through their changes.
