  • Lindsey Stephenson

Lindsey believes that everyone can reach their full potential, and he is passionate in supporting people to do so. He strives to assist clients in bringing lasting and meaningful change in their lives, so they can move past simply surviving to thriving. People describe Lindsey as someone who is warm, wise, and authentic – someone who is safe and accepts people for who and where they are. He is committed to understanding clients and their goals, dreams, and where they want to go in their life. He enjoys helping people discover their strengths, new skills and perspectives. Lindsey desires his clients to feel relief, begin to hope again, discover a new sense of peace, experience healthier relationships, learn better ways of functioning, and enjoy life in a way they didn’t think was possible.

Lindsey works with individual adults in examining their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and past experiences, and how they are impacting them today. He understands that clients are the best experts on themselves, and he works collaboratively with them to bring about the change they want in their lives. He uses an integrative, biopsychosocial approach to counselling that draws from attachment theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and incorporates themes of acceptance and mindfulness.

Lindsey offers day, evening, and weekend appointments – in-person or virtually – to accommodate the busy lives of his clients. He is happy to provide a free 20-minute consultation in person or over the phone, so people can see if he is the right fit for them.
