According to the American Psychological Association, “Psychologists help people of all ages live happier, healthier, and more productive lives.” Using various psychotherapy methods and collaborative treatment measures, my patients develop life-changing habits to help them cope with any of life’s various obstacles. Phuong therapy sessions are designed to dissect personal issues and provide patients with effective tools to help them see the glass half full instead of half empty.

Phuong has over 23 years of experience providing assessments and psychotherapy; first as a psychiatric nurse, then as a family counselor, and in 2012 as a psychologist in private practice.                                 Phuong has worked in hospitals, community clinics, AHS/CBE/WCB, and for Lifemark (a rehab company). Phuong is a diplomate of the American Board of School Neuropsychology (ABSNP).

From small-scale circumstances to traumatic experiences – my services are personalized to suit everyone’s needs and uniqueness. Phuong implements effective assessment protocol and psychotherapy methods to instill a deep understanding of the patient’s strengths and weaknesses and encourage them to build resilience and change to live their best life.

Phuong is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
