Sadiya Shah

I recognize that the path to healing requires compassion and empathy. I strives to create a safe and non judgmental environment for clients and encourage being curious about mental health and wellbeing. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is foundational to healing.
I specialize in adult ADHD assessment and treatment, as well as early childhood and family of origin/intergenerational trauma and PTSD. I have an interest in cross-cultural psychology and promote decolonizing and culturally-aware practices. In addition to these specializations, I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, and stress management. I base my work on various integrative approaches that are focused on the wholeness of the self, developing a sense of safety, and making sense of early experiences as they relate to where you are today.
I have had over 9 years of experience in the mental health field with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I currently work with individuals, children, and couples.
Therapy is hard work and can be a long journey towards healing and growth. My hope is to be able to provide you with the nurturing, support, and kindness you need during this time. I believe that all human beings must be treated kindly, respectfully, and with unconditional positive regard; I keep my focus on what is in your best interest and work with you to achieve the changes you are striving for.
