    Calgary is a busy and fast paced city. As a result, there comes a point in every Calgarian’s life where we face struggles. Distressing symptoms such as anxiety and depression begin to arise that make life more challenging. This is when people begin to search out Calgary counselling.

    In your first session your Psychologist will ask you about your goals. We want this to be a collaborative approach. We want to hear you and understand what life has been like for you recently. We want to journey with you through this difficult time.

    A variety of tools and strategies are given to clients so that we ensure we find the ones that are right for you as each client is different and has a different story to share. We start with tools as we desire to see your symptoms decrease quickly, so that you can feel better quicker. Different theories that are used include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative, Solution Focused, Positive Psychology and Interpersonal Neurobiology.
