Calgary Institute of Counselling provides in-person counselling in Calgary as well as online video counselling sessions. 


Insurance coverage depends on your employee benefit plan or health insurance provider. Contact your provider to determine if your plan covers psychotherapy services in part or in full, if you have a deductible, and if there is a limit to the number of sessions you can have per calendar year.

Jenn Betts

Jenn believes that counselling is most effective with a strong client/counsellor relationship. She counsels from an empathic and collaborative approach. Her desire is to create a place of emotional safety for her clients. Clients often tell her that they feel comfortable and understood in session.

Marizabel Forno

Marizabel takes a gentle and warm approach to working with her clients. She understands the delicate nature of the counselling process and she believes strongly in creating a safe, non-judgmental, and healing environment for clients to explore their strengths and resiliency.

Lindsey Stephenson

Lindsey believes that everyone can reach their full potential, and he is passionate in supporting people to do so. He strives to assist clients in bringing lasting and meaningful change in their lives, so they can move past simply surviving to thriving.

Braelyn Bishop

Braelyn is committed to helping her clients to live healthy and fulfilled lives according to their personal values and strengths. She understands how difficult it can be to begin counselling and compassionately guides clients throughout the process to help them achieve meaningful change.

Beatrice believes every client has a unique story to share. Through a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental space, she takes the time to listen and understand exactly what clients are experiencing. Michelle Eves

Michelle Eves is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. With over 15 years in mental health, Michelle supported diverse populations of adults, teens, children and families with their concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, self-harm, life transitions, family relationships, and significant mental health challenges.

Tawny Hosker

Tawny believes that clients are best supported through the security of the therapeutic relationship. To build the counsellor-client alliance she focuses on being compassionate, genuine and accepting throughout the counselling process. Tawny works alongside clients to explore their experiences, develop insight, recognize resiliency and empower the client onwards.
