Mahshad believes that every person has a unique story worth hearing. As a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental therapist, she provides a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, emotions, and challenges without fear of being judged. Mahshad is passionate about truly understanding her clients and helping them move toward meaningful healing and change.

Mahshad’s approach is grounded in compassion and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. She works with clients facing a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges, whether they’re navigating transitions, struggling with self-doubt, experiencing disconnection, or simply feeling stuck. She is passionate about helping individuals cultivate self-awareness, strengthen their inner resources, and move toward greater clarity and confidence in their lives.

Drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Schema Therapy, and Person-Centred Therapy, Mahshad tailors her work to meet the unique needs of each client. She also works from a trauma-informed perspective, which means she is attuned to the ways that past experiences can shape present-day challenges and is careful to create an emotionally safe and empowering environment for her clients. With lived experience of immigration herself, Mahshad brings cultural sensitivity and insight into the complexities of identity, belonging, and adaptation.

She is currently registered as a Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Mahshad offers counselling in both English and Farsi and welcomes clients from all backgrounds.
