Olivia is a kind and understanding individual who enjoys helping others in need. With a wide and diverse set of experience, Olivia has worked with many different populations, including clients who have experienced domestic violence, and those in crisis. Her skills of case management, case planning, and advocacy, provide a client-centered and trauma-informed approach to care, and she believes in fostering a relationship with clients through compassion and empathy. Olivia believes in creating a safe and trusting environment for her clients. She uses a strengths-based approach to help clients understand their resiliency and personal strengths. Olivia understands the importance of compassion and creating a non-judgmental space for her clients. Olivia uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive- Behavioural Therapy and Person-centered Therapy. With her volunteer experience across various organizations in Calgary, Olivia helps clients with goals they have in their lives related to finances, housing, and obtaining mental health support. In her spare time Olivia enjoys hockey, camping, and spending time with her family. To ensure that she is a good fit for you Olivia offers a free 20-minute consultation phone or over video consutl. She also has a variety of daytime and evening appointment times to ensure availability and accessibility for her clients. Olivia holds a Bachelor degree in psychology and a Master Degree of Counselling. Olivia works with children, adolescents, couples, families and individual adults.
