Florencia Glover
Florencia believes that every person is unique and valuable. By using a compassionate, person-centered approach, she works to create a safe space of healing, discovery and understanding. With validation and through a strong connection between the therapist and client she offers a space to work towards creating a life worth living.
Florencia’s experience stems both from her lived journey and from several years working in mental health with adults and youth at risk. She also has extensive experience with work related absences and disability insurance. She is passionate about working with misunderstood minorities by helping them share their stories. As a therapist, she is down to earth and genuine, she is empathetic and a good listener, yet hard working and active when required. She works from a trauma informed lens, using approaches such as CBT, solution focused therapy, DBT, narrative, EMDR, psychodynamic, among others.
